Overnight Protein Oats are a healthy and delicious breakfast for those busy mornings when you just don't have time to spare in the kitchen. Get creative with your toppings and flavour combinations - you really can't go wrong!
Try this Overnight Banana Layered Protein Oats recipe, using our creamy Banana Proats2Go.
Serves 1 | 6+ Hours
INGREDIENTS:
1 x 70g Sachet of Banana Proats2Go
200ml of Almond or Soy Milk
1 Banana, sliced
Walnuts, Almonds and Coconut Flakes to serve
METHOD:
Add the 70g Banana Proats2Go sachet into a small mixing bowl.
Add the milk and stir well to combine the protein oats.
Scoop half of the Proats mixture into a glass jar or bowl.
Layer the sliced banana on top of the porridge mix.
Scoop the remaining Proats mixture on top of the banana slices.
Place in the fridge overnight or for at least 6 hours.
Top your overnight banana layered protein oats with chopped walnuts, almonds and coconut flakes.
Enjoy cold, thick and creamy overnight protein oats the next morning!
TIPS:
You can add the nuts before you place your banana protein oats in the fridge, however they may become soggy. If you prefer crunchy nuts (like we do!), it's best to add the walnuts and almonds to your overnight protein oats the next morning.
Heat your jar of overnight protein oats in the microwave for 50 seconds to enjoy them warm. They'll be super creamy!! Yum.
If the consistency of your Overnight Protein Oats is too runny for your liking, add less liquid next time. If they're too too thick, add more liquid.
